Do viewers need an account?
No. Whoever gets the link watches in their browser, on phone or computer, without signing up.
Can I watch offline?
Yes: the “Download” button on the watch page saves the video to rewatch without a connection.
How do I comment?
Pause at the right moment, type your first name and your comment: it attaches to that moment in the video.
Recording and sharing
Which devices?
Veeyou for Mac is in private beta (macOS 15 or later). Android and Windows come next. Videos play on any recent phone.
What if the connection drops during upload?
The upload resumes on its own from the last chunk sent, even after the computer was turned off.
How do I know my video was watched?
Your Mac shows a “Awa watched your video” notification, and the “Shared online” tab shows views, reactions and comments.
Do subtitles cost extra?
No. French and English subtitles are included in every plan.
Privacy and pricing
Who can see my videos?
You choose for each video: anyone with the link, public, or private. Videos you don't share stay on your Mac.
Is my voice sent to an AI?
No. Transcription and translation run on your Mac with Apple's tools. Only the subtitles go with the video, if you share it.
How do I remove a shared video?
Set it to “Private” in the app: it's no longer accessible. To delete it completely, write to us with its link.
How much does it cost?
Nothing. Veeyou is completely free, with no credit card and no subscription.
